Faithfull Woodworking Mortice Gauge (178HL)
High quality gauge made from fine hardwood, and enhanced with brass facing plates and fittings. Dual purpose gauge can be used for laying out mortices and for marking out with the grain. Second pin, for mortice work, can be accurately set by means of the pullslide. Nylon friction pad fitted under the knurled brass thumbscrew reduces wear to the stem and ensures secure, smooth and accurate setting of the gauge.
