Marking Gauges
(2 products)Marking gauges are used within woodwork to mark a workpiece with a parallel offset line. This can be done both with the grain or across it by easily adjusting the stock to the required depth and scoring the surface of the wood with a pin or blade. Also known as a mortise gauge or a scratch gauge, they have a variety of uses within woodwork and are particularly useful when marking multiple pieces of the same size.
