Screwfix Sprint - Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the same day Screwfix Sprint delivery services (“Screwfix Sprint”), supplementing the Screwfix Direct (Ireland) Limited (“Screwfix” and/or “We”) standard terms and conditions for the sale of goods as set out at Terms & Conditions.

Screwfix Sprint is operated by GOPHR Limited (“Gophr”) and is available from selected Screwfix Trade Counters (“Participating Stores”). When you provide your mobile number to submit an order, you consent to Screwfix sharing it with Gophr, for the purpose of fulfilling the delivery.

Screwfix reserves the right to amend the Participating Stores at any time, see Sprint Page for current locations. You can also check Participating Store’s on the Screwfix app (the “App”).

Screwfix Sprint is available daily during trading hours of the Participating Stores, excluding the last 30 minutes of the store opening. See Screwfix for operating hours. Orders placed for delivery within 30 minutes of, or outside, the operating hours of the Participating Store will not be accepted.

Screwfix Sprint is only available on orders submitted via the App and within a specific radius of the Participating Stores. Availability to your delivery address can be checked in the App.

Delivery times are subject to availability and are estimates only (including any GPS delivery and/or any Screwfix or Gophr tracking services). Neither Screwfix nor Gophr guarantee that your order will be delivered within the stated times.

We do not guarantee that Gophr will accept and fulfil orders placed using Screwfix Sprint, and Screwfix reserves the right to restrict or withdraw Screwfix Sprint at any time and without notice. In the event your order cannot be fulfilled, your order will be cancelled and a full refund (including any standard delivery charge) will be issued.

Gophr and/or Screwfix will contact you using the mobile number you provide when you place your order in the event it becomes aware of any issue preventing delivery of your order.

Should you change your mind and no longer want the order after it has been placed, please take your order to your nearest Screwfix Store or contact our Customer Services team to arrange a free collection.

You will need to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept delivery. If no one is available, your order will be returned to the Participating Store for a refund (excluding any delivery charges).

Screwfix Sprint is subject to a standard delivery charge, as shown at the checkout. Screwfix reserves the right to amend its delivery charges at any time prior to accepting an order. The mobile phone number confirmed when placing your order will be used in the event we need to contact you.

Screwfix Sprint is available for select products only, as detailed in the Sprint section of the App, and are subject to availability. Products excluded include: (i) all products weighing in excess of 25kg, (ii) all age-restricted products, (iii) any hazardous items, and (iiii) all products with dimensions in excess of 90cm x 60cm x 60cm. Order's cannot be accepted for Screwfix Sprint where the total basket exceeds 100kg and/or dimensions in excess of 90cm x 60cm x 60cm. In app notifications will alert you where an order has reached a weight and/or dimension limit.

Once the Sprint delivery order has been placed you will receive a notification via the App confirming it has been accepted. You will receive further notifications via the App when your order has been despatched, the driver is at the delivery address and when the order has been delivered. When the order has been collected by a driver, you will receive SMS notification from Gopher with a link to real time delivery tracking to enable tracking of your delivery and arrival time. You will also receive an SMS from Gopher when the driver is at the delivery address, and on completion of delivery.

To receive alerts when we send you an App notification, please enable push notifications. You can manage your push notification preferences, at any time, in the App settings or in the device settings of your mobile phone. Screwfix will not be responsible for any delays to Screwfix Sprint as a result of push notifications being disabled.

Use of personal data received in the course of Screwfix Sprint will be in accordance with Screwfix’s Privacy Notice. Please contact our Customer Services team for any queries concerning your order, or to provide feedback on Screwfix Sprint.

Screwfix, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents shall not be responsible or liable to compensate for any loss, damage (including without limitation loss of profit or reputation, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network service or other connections, or any special, indirect, or consequential loss), occurring as a result of Screwfix Sprint or any delays in Screwfix Sprint. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Screwfix Sprint is governed by Irish law, and the Courts of Republic of Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction. Screwfix reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
