Alarm system including a base station, keypad, motion detector, contact sensor and range extender. Keypad allows arming and disarming of the alarm system. Mount it on a wall or place it on a table near a door that is used often. Connect to power using the USB power supply and cable. Motion detector detects movement through rooms and hallways, which an intruder would be likely to pass through, while allowing occupants to move freely through their home. In normal mode, the sensor detects motion constantly, but will only send notifications for the first detection. After 3 minutes of no activity, it will restore and be ready to notify again. In test mode the sensor detects motion constantly and sends notifications every 15 seconds, this helps with testing blind spots, pets and other environmental triggers. Contact sensor alerts when a door or window is opened. Can be installed on any door or window. Range extender expands the range of a Ring alarm network and enables devices to communicate with the base station. Works best when placed between the base station and the most distant alarm devices.
