Powered by a 40V Max XGT Li-ion slide battery to supply energy to the powerful brushless motor. Soft-start for smooth start-ups and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load. Delivers up to 1600W maximum output and 4000rpm for efficient cutting and equal delivery to, or higher power than, Makita corded saws. Equipped with a lightweight magnesium die-cast base, compatible with a 199141-8 guide rail (sold separately) without an adapter, for precision cutting, electric brake for increased operator safety, twin LED job lights with pre-glow and after-glow to illuminate the work area and an anti-restart function. Also features a rotating built-in dust nozzle, auto-start wireless system (AWS) to automatically connect to a compatible dust extractor with Bluetooth (chip 198900-7 required, sold separately) and a battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current.
